James Mason Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 86, James Mason Jr. of Gladwin, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Mason and Martha Mason Sr. (Miller); his grandparents, Henry, Susana Mason (Unger), Harry and Carrie Miller (Hutman); his brother Daniel; his siblings-in-law, Rick Tollefson (Micki Gray), Hazel Ray (Robert) and Faye Tennant (Jack); and his grandson Brent Mercer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Mason; his sons, James M Mason (Lesley) of Ann Arbor, Thomas Mercer of Gladwin, Daniel A. Mercer of Gladwin, Tedd Mercer of Gladwin, Eric Mercer of Gladwin and David Mercer of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Colin, Griffin, Emmett Mason of Ann Arbor, Jennifer, Rachel, Aaron, Johnethan, Sarah, Franklin, Robert, Brad, Amber Mercer and Michelle; his sister Mary Tollefson; and his sister-in-law Debbie Mason. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gladwin Assembly of God Church and the Navy Relief Association.
