He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thorington and Edna Thorington (Fries); his siblings, Geneva Wilford, Louis Thorington, Nora Nettleton, Bonnie Lou Irvin, Betty Winters and Carol Laughlin; and his children, Diane Thorington, Harold Thorington, Janice Vedrode and Paul Thorington.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his grandchildren, Ryan Vedrode (Skye), Chase Vedrode-Jones (Jason), Troy Vedrode (Kayla), Matt Thorington (Rheannon), Thomas Thorington (Britney), Jessi Thorington and Nellie Thorington; and his children-in-law, Kurt Vedrode, Tammy Thorington and Joanne Seeburger. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calendar Sacred Heart Catholic Church (300 N Silverleaf St, Gladwin, MI 48624).
