The threads of family and faith were woven tightly into her life from the very beginning. The cherished memories of her upbringing laid a strong foundation for the beautiful life she would create for herself and her loved ones.
The year 1951 marked the beginning of a lifelong love story as Arlene married her soulmate, Ward Cuddie, on January 7th. Their union was blessed with a shared journey of love, laughter, and devotion until Ward's passing on November 13, 2007. Together, they nurtured a family that expanded through generations, leaving a legacy of warmth and unity. Arlene's nurturing spirit extended beyond her home as she dedicated numerous years to caring for others at the Pratt Lake Nursing Home. Her kindness and compassion made a lasting impact on the lives of many. Faith played a significant role in Arlene's life, and she expressed her devotion through her involvement with the Community Baptist Church in Harrison. Throughout the years, Arlene found solace and joy in simple pleasures like working in her yard and tending to her garden. Her affection for the outdoors was paralleled by her love for music. She delighted in playing the piano and singing, filling her home with melodies that are fondly remembered and greatly missed. Above all, Arlene's world revolved around her family.
She is survived by her loving children: Darrel (Cindy) Cuddie, Gerald Cuddie, Brian (Terri) Cuddie, Mary Beth (Nate) Brace, and Paul (Janet) Cuddie.
