We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2023, at the age of 101, Ethal Ruth Sharp-Emerick (Gladwin, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas and Sophia Thomas; her husband Mark Sharp; her daughters, June Donahue (Jim) and Phyllis Allen (Russ); her former husband Lyle Emrick; and her siblings, Wendell, Edmond, Alfred and Dora Sullivan.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Foor (John), Linda Newman (Chuck) and Tom Sharp (Janet). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be to Compassus Hospice.
