He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorn Hale and Alice Hale (Thorington); and his brothers, Larry, Orland and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Berry; his children, Lorri Allen (Kent), Lisa Drake (Matt) and Donald Hale Jr.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Locey (Patrick), Lucas Allen, Carson Allen, Kelsey Drake (Drew), Ciera Drake and Lexi Geiser (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Hendrix Locey and Drake Geiser; his sister Karen Morse; his sisters-in-law, Carol Hale and Susan Hale; and his pets, Milly and Maisy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
