He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Thorington and Lillian Thorington (Fischer). He is survived by: his wife Annie (Brown); his children, Andy Thorington (Karie), Jody Card (Scott) and Jessica Anderson (Larry); his grandchildren, Eva, Ali, Blaire, Kinley, Mason, Asher, Avanna, Morgan, Raiden and Zane; and his brothers, Larry Thorington (Cindy) and Ron Thorington (Lucy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home (440 E Cedar Ave, Gladwin, MI 48624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Anne Catholic Church (5738 M-30, Edenville, MI 48620).
