She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Schafer; her children, James "Jim", Navy Ret, Robert "Robby" Gilmore of Gladwin, MI and Troy Schafer (Andrea) of Bay City, MI.; her granddaughter Candace Purdom (Blake Ant) of Sherman, TX.; her great grandchildren, Gavin Schafer, Ryder Schafer and Clayton Thomas Purdom; her brother Larry Hetherington of Pinconning, MI.; and her close friend Sandy Hebert.
