He is survived by: his partner Gail Anderson; his daughter Monica Shumaker (Justin) of Charlotte; his stepchildren, Marty Zelt (Kate), Jamie Zelt (Susan) of Gladwin and Denise Zelt-Mcgrath (Mark) of Arizona; and his siblings, Robert Ziemer (Kathy) of Gladwin, Emil Ziemer (Pristilla) of Arizona and Ruth Walsh of Las Vegas.
