She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Nelson and Anna Nelson (Conklin); and her brothers, Gary and David. She is survived by: her sons, Toney and Steve Barnes; her grandchildren, Tim (Billie), Kaylin (Larry) and Mandy (Matt); her sister Lona Vance (Allen); her nieces, Christa and Lisa; her nephew Scott; and her close friend Ruth Johnson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the New Dawn Shelter in Gladwin.
