He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Schultz (DeShambo) and William Schultz; his wife Sherri Schultz; his siblings, Dave Schultz (Sally) and Rita Rae Gascon (Edward); and his great grandchildren, Kallie Liberty and Maverick Swanson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Carlson (Jeff) of Gladstone, MI, Patty Schultz (Escanaba), Paula Cady (Roy) of Peoria, AZ and Polly Wunder (Escanaba); his sisters, Lollie (Richard), Manske and Elaine Wils (Jim); his grandchildren, Jason Carlson (Tunisha), Benjamen Carlson (Tamara), Megan Lovell (Trevor), Alesha Swanson (Phillip), Crissy Phillips (Eric), Cassie Liberty (Bradley), Tommy Cady, Krista McKindles, Levi and Scout Wunder; his great grandchildren, Kasadee, Jackson Swanson, Lydia, Winston, Lucy Lovell, Kinsley and Everleigh Liberty; his close friend Donna Cavill; and his stepson Michael Scheuren (Escanaba). He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes Chapel (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (817 S Lincoln Rd, Escanaba, MI 49829).
