He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence LaFave and Roseann LaFave (Paquin); his wife Betty Jane Renner; his children, Michael (Willard), Mark LaFave and Michelle Wilson; and his brothers, LeRoy and Clarence LaFave.
He is survived by: his son Matthew LaFave of Gladstone; his grandchildren, Beth Wright (Darby), Shannon Williams (Prenethis), Nicole Hubbell (Josh), Karrie LaFave, Crystal Miles (Bradley), Tiffany LaFave and Matthew LaFave; and his brother Clayton "Butch" LaFave of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
