He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Gaus and Anne Gaus (Leisner); and his siblings, Marlin and Evelyn LeDuc. He is survived by: his wife Mary of Gladstone; his sons, Rick Gaus of Escanaba, James Gaus of Brampton and Mark; his grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, Amanda and Mark Jr.; and his sister Oleda Alvey of Gladstone. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
