He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Deneau and Marie Deneau (Micheau); his daughter Lisa Marie; his siblings, Mary Dausey, Linda Thomma and James Deneau; and his parents-in-law, Norm and Norma Slough.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Deneau of Gladstone; his children, Robert Deneau (Lisa) of Lake Orion, MI and Sara Roach (Nicholas) of Grand Ledge, MI; his grandchildren, Lindsay Swindle (David), Stefanie Champagne (Jon), Ryan Bayne, Josef, Alyssa Deneau, Austin, Nicholas and Randy Roach; his great grandchildren, Jake, Mia, Luke Champagne, Orahlynn, Raeanna, Owen Roach and Hope Swindle; his siblings, Donald Deneau (Sue), John Deneau (Linda), Roger Deneau (Hope), Francis Deneau, Teresa Fleury, Nancy Green (Ken) and Cassie Dausey; and also, Mary Whistler (Mike), Bill Slough (Becky) and Sharon Houtkamp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorials to Escanaba Public Safety for one of their community outreach programs, such as Shop with a Cop, The Hero Program, or the Angel Program be considered.
