He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Winkelbauer and Idella Winkelbauer (Morley); his son Scott Winkelbauer; his brother Jack Duncan; and his grandson Joshua Verbrigghe.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Gosselin; his children, Gary Winkelbauer (Deb), Timothy Winkelbauer (Shaunna), Linda Williams (Jim), Teri Verbrigghe (Al) and Kristie Nevala (John); and his brother Dale Winkelbauer.
