With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Joy Solka of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Virgo (Johnson) and Roderick Virgo; her husband Richard Solka, Sr.; and her brother Bruce Virgo. She is survived by: her children, Bethel, Michael Harwood (Mindy) of Saxapahaww, NC, Holly Peoples (Paul) and Pamela Kirchoff (Kiowa) of Alpena, MI; her siblings, Scott Virgo, Keith Virgo of Escanaba, MI and Gwen Wood (Orrin Bailey) of Buchanan, MI; her grandchildren, Natalie Harwood, Andrew, Dylan, Kelsey MacNeill, Mitch Pfiefer, Claire Bryan and Jiri Solka; her great grandchild Sevi MacNeill; and her nieces, Jenny Keskey, Dana Virgo-Weintraub (Keith), Erin Virgo and Laura Virgo.
