With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam H. Poquette of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Engadine, Michigan, who passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam W. Poquette and Robena F. Poquette (Smith); his wife Evelyn Porath of Escanaba, MI.; his children, Tom Poquette and Karen Wils (Barry); and his brothers, Robert, Jim and Roger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Beauvais (Allen) of Escanaba and Susan Linden (Edward) of Escanaba; his siblings, John Poquette (Dianna) of Aurora, IL, Shirley Arts (Edward) of Wells and Patricia Pietrzak (Aaron) of Danforth; and his close friend Mary Trombley of Brampton, MI.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
