He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Helman; and his brother-in-law Terry "Doc" VanBrocklin. He is survived by: his siblings, Alice VanBrocklin, Kathy VanBrocklin (Bob), Colleen Terrian (Mike), Robert Helman (Elaine) and Steve Helman (Jean). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
