He is survived by: his parents, Matt Makie and Elizabeth Makie (Sutki); his daughter Lynne Majestic (Rudy) of Gladstone; his daughter-in-law Diane Makie of Sturgeon Bay, WI; his siblings, Lawrence "Howard" Maki of Escanaba, MI and Elvera Kallio of Grand Haven; his son Jeff; and his siblings, Donald, William, Toivo, Robert, Lenard, Hilda Maki, Marie Haga, Ila Erhenberg, Lillian Carlson, Sadie Artley, Sami Nelson and Ida Creten. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
