He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wangrud and Otellia Wangrud (Nitschke); his parents-in-law, Edward and Alice McKinney; and his brother-in-law Gary Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean McKinney; his children, Carrie Fortner of Oregon, Kenneth "Casey" Wangrud of Danforth, Michael Wangrud (Lisa) of Escanaba, Angela Gardner (Thomas) of Escanaba and Emily Hord of Dallas; his grandchildren, Mallory Wangrud, Annika, Jerry Wangrud, Marissa, Brandon, Ryan Gardner, Koency, Jack, Vivienne Hord, Shiloah, Cheyenne and Lhasa Fortner; his sister Verletta Olson; his nieces, Susan Olson and Allison Leach; his former wife Betsy DePuydt (Butch); and also Bailey.
In keeping with the family's requests, wearing a mask and social distancing is required while attending the service.
