He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Birkholz and Honora Birkholz (Murphy); his siblings, Timothy, Karl and Maureen "Sissy"; his daughter Cathy Khollman; and his grandsons, Travis Hebert and Tommy Khollman.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Fred Khollman (Donna), Anna Gasperich (Mike), Chris Hamrin (Dave), Randy Khollman, Michelle Anderson (Greg), Roxann Hebert (Mike) and Ricky Khollman (Sarah); his sister Susan Thomas; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Cory, Jason, Heather, Jacob, Erin, Brandon, Jarred, Miranda, Ethan, Conor, Mike and Jessica. He is also survived by great-great grandchild; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
