It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Norkooli (Gladstone, Michigan), born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on December 24, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Thomas; and her brother Tim. She is survived by: her mother Mary Nault of Escanaba; her husband John Norkooli of Gladstone; her brothers, Jeff Nault (Patty) of Neenah, WI and Patrick Nault (Elizabeth) of Hanahan, SC; her children, Christopher Hess (Dawn) of Ishpeming, Andrew Hess of Gladstone, Jennifer Brazeau (Josh) of Gladstone and Daniel Hess (Kryssy) of San Francisco, CA; her stepdaughters, Kelly Norkooli of Escanaba and Stephanie Couchene (Jake) of Marquette; her grandchildren, Kayla Boudreau (Curtis), Cassidy Leach, Quenten Derwin, Dakota Clark, MacKenzie Brazeau and Haylee Brazeau; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Brantley and Nora; and her close friends, Lisa and Cindy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
