With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne Poe (Gladstone, Michigan), born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Cowell and Lydia Cowell (Stock); and her siblings, Daniel Cowell, Marion and Dianne Cowell.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Poe; her children, Joanne Chouinard (Seth) of Cornell, Dianne LaChance (Tom) of Perkins, Suzanne Madsen (Matt) of Kalamazoo, MI and David Poe (Jessica) of Perkins; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Evan Chouinard, Trevor, Mason LaChance, Ethan, Emily Poe, Savannah, Jack and Olivia Madsen; her brothers, Dan Cowell (Ute) of Arlington, TX, Richard Cowell (Kathy) of Norway and Dennis Cowell of Kipling; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Cowell of Escanaba. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many special cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Delta County Cancer Alliance, Friends of the Gladstone Library or All Saints Catholic Church.
