He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luke LaPlant and Loretta LaPlant (Boubonaise); his wife Beverly Brandl; his daughters, Marsha, Kim Lauscher (Don), Lori Lauscher (Brian) and Maureen Zar (Jeff); his siblings, Vern LaPlant (Dorothy), Gary LaPlant (Helen), Lynn LaPlant (Sue) and Susan Gustafson (Ken); his sister-in-law Sharon Brandl; his great grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Drew, Trent, Landon, Teegan, Scout, Bryer, Cruz, Andie, Rhett, Paislee, Maci, Tripp, Kerry, Colton, Lucas and Ruatti; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Mary Brandl; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Newman (Alan) and Donna Boutilier (Todd); his siblings, Larry LaPlant (Mickey), Bill (Babber), Shirley Bryan and Betty Depuydt (Joe); his nephews, Brian Boutilier and Toddy Newman; and also, Heidi Baldovski (Bryan), Kurt Lauscher (Kelly), Lindsey Rosinski (Ryan), Jayme Cannon (Eric), Samantha McLeod (Rick), BJ Lauscher (Sara), Courtney Ruatti (Todd), Andy Lauscher (Ashley) and Jeff Zar (Holly). He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
