He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Trekas and Anita Trekas (Haefs); his siblings, Ted Trekas, Jerry Trekas, Norma Malles and Vivian Look; and his sister-in-law Madelyn Trekas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Joy Trekas; his children, Barbara Trekas, Steven Trekas (Joanna), Brian Trekas (Debra), Scott Trekas (Michelle), Mike Trekas (Jana), Wesley Litts (Barb) and Kelly Kleiman (Matt); and his brother Ronald Trekas. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
