Joan Richer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2023, at the age of 85, Joan Richer of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norrie Holmlund and Linnea Holmlund (Johnson); her husband Richard Richer; and her sister Vera Vietzke. She is survived by: her children, Regina Richer of Lincoln Park, MI and Rodney Richer of Gladstone, MI.; her sisters, Mary Ann Lavigne of Rapid River, MI, Betty Setter (Harvey) of Gladstone, MI, Carol Sabo (Dennis) of Gladstone, MI and Pam Smeester of Rapid River, MI.; her grandchildren, RaShae, Sydney, Jarin, Skye, Sabrina, Sergei and Cole; her great grandchildren, Destinee, John Jr., Izaiah, Julius, Boone and Jace; and her sister Peggy Berglund. She is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Federation for the Blind or Grace Church.
