Olson of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Cornell, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Olson and Bernettie Olson (Carlson); his wife Elaine Buckland; his son Craig Olson; and his siblings, Hjalmer Olson, Linda Jackson and Clarence Olson.
He is survived by: his cousins, Viola, Annika and Monica; his children, Patti Mattonen (Dennis) of Gladstone and Cory Olson (Ellen) of Divide, CO; his grandchildren, Jarrod Mattonen of Gladstone, Jeremy Olson of Appleton, WI, Justin Mattonen of Cornell, Joshua Mattonen of Gladstone, Heidi Alexander of Marshfield, WI, James Olson of Rapid River, Natalie Boyce of Gladstone, Jonas Olson of Escanaba, Jordan Olson of Medina, OH and Calleigh Olson of Colorodo Springs, CO; his daughter-in-law Debbie Olson of Ocala, FL; and his siblings, Linnea Buckland of Hudsonville, MI, Melvin Olson (Karen) of Caledonia, MI, Ethel Knierim (Mick) of Grand Rapids, MI, Dale Olson (Connie) of Coral Springs, FL, Gary Olson (Anne) of Gaylord, MI and Debbie Krafcheck (Craig) of Allen, TX. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
