He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Elisher and Laurencia; and his siblings, Arnold Eagle, Leroy McKnight, Marion Leisenring, Patricia Irving and Doris Scheuren.
He is survived by: his children, Lorraine of Kalamazoo, Gerald (LeVette) of O'Fallon, IL, Daniel of Madison, WI and Elaine of Gladstone; his daughter-in-law Amy McKnight of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Elijah Riley (Treana), Bethany McKnight-Kamau (Andrew), Haley, Donovan and James McKnight; his great grandchildren, Simone, Malachi, Elijah Jr., Eliana and Emmanuelle; his siblings, Clara Moser, Frances McCulley of Las Vegas, NV, Richard McKnight of Mims, FL and Elmer MacKnight (Dorothy) of Racine, WI; and his friend Sandy Rickards.
