He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Johnson and Beda Johnson (Swanson); his wife Iris Bonno; his grandson Samuel Larson; and his siblings, Mason, Fred, Roger, David "Bucko" Johnson and Helene "Dolly" Thibeault.
He is survived by: his children, Susanne Dubord (William, Jr.) of Gladstone and Steven Johnson (April) of Gladstone; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Derek, Michael, Desiree, Dylan, Stephanie, Rebecca and William, III. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
