She was predeceased by: her parents, Erling Erickson and Alice Erickson (Artley); her husband Harold Karnitz; her brother Dwane Erickson; her sister-in-law Mary Kaye Erickson; her sister Mary Kalmbach (Richard); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Kalmbach and Russell Poma.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elaine Poma and Michele Powers (Terry); and her nephew Keith Picord (Kitty) of Escanaba. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
