Chenail of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Fred B. Chenail of Rapid River, MI.; his parents-in-law, Adlore Lusardi and Ingrid Lusardi; and his brother-in-law Marvin Lusardi. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Agnes (Niemi); his wife Ellen Lusardi; his children, Douglas (Debra) of Swartz Creek, MI, Ronald of Escanaba and Lori Viau (Jim) of Escanaba; his brothers, Robert (Barbara) of Gwinn and Donald (Joy) of Escanaba; his brother-in-law Wayne Lusardi (Nancy) of Troy, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Morley Diment (Christina) of Prairieville, LA, Joseph Chenail (Marly Watts) of Escanaba, Halle Marenger (Garrett) of Escanaba and Kadey Mai (Eli) of Escanaba; his great grandchildren, Elliott Marenger, Marvin Mai, Zoe Diment and Freddy Diment; and his granddaughter Lilah Irene Marenger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews, as well as many cousins.
With regret, a funeral luncheon cannot be provided due to COVID 19 restrictions.
He then began a downhill slide and Parkinson's dementia began.
