She was predeceased by: her husband Alrick Mikkila; and her parents, Jacob Maenpaa and Mary Rentola. She is survived by: her children, Al Mikkila of Gladstone, Susan Karaszewski (Gary) of Gladstone and Lois Mikkila of Columbia, Maryland; her grandsons, Phil Truesdale (Justyna) and Jason Schilf; her great grandchildren, Sean and Ellie; and her sister Dagmar Blankenship of Maryland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Faith Lutheran Church Food Pantry in Rock, MI.
