He is survived by: his wife Julie Salminen of Gladstone; his son Sam "Tuck" Kohnert of Gladstone; his grandchildren, Austin and Aiden Kohnert; and his siblings, Bob (Sue), Tracy Kohnert of Wisconsin, Steve Kohnert (Gloria) of Gladstone, Billy Kohnert of Escanaba and Vicky Kohnert of Gladstone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
