She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oja and Delia Oja; her husband Ron Strait; her sister Lucinda; and her brother-in-law Mike Kelly.
She is survived by: her daughter Jana Lavelle (Dan); her grandsons, Joshua and Gabriel Lavelle (Lauryn); and her great grandchild Lily.
