Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Ralph Lahtinen of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 75, on March 5, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralphael Lahtinen and Lourice Lahtinen (Moretti); and his grandson Anthony Fox. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Lee Anderson; his daughters, Tara Lahtinen (Brian Dunne) and Tiffany Hewitt (Ben); his stepchildren, Tim Fox (Sheri) and Tammy Woods (John); his grandchildren, Jordan (Victoria), Caleb (Talia), Ashlyn (Zach), Allison (Ben), Matthew, Brooke, Porter, Ruby, Landon and Luca (Jordan); and his sister Dianne Malcomb (Delmas). He is also survived by his friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be used to establish a scholarship fund in Dave's memory.

“Our condolences to the Lahtinen family. Dave and I go back to our college years at NMU. We watched many packer games at his home during our college years. He was a packer fan when I knew him. I can remember him being a good golfer. One day I was his caddy on a round of golf. Dave was a fun person to be around. I was glad to be a friend of his for so many years. Pat and Ron Baldini”
