It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Norman Richer of Gladstone, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Richer and Laura Richer; his siblings, Theresa Ruckman (Talbert), Rita Maskart (Mike) and Richard; and his grandson Dewy Richer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Budinger of Cornell; his children, Cheryl Hanna (Nick), Jay (Michelle), Renee (Shane) and Josh (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Alyssa Richer, Caylan Trudell (Brian), Chris Richer, Sophie Hanna, Marc Hanna, Joey Richer, Gabe Richer and Camille Richer; and his siblings, Lester (Debbie), Ada Knauf (Fred) and Phyllis Schoen (Dean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Holy Name Alumni and Staff Endowment Fund or to UP Health Systems Hospice.
