He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Gibson and Verna Gibson (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elliott; and his children, Crystal Hardwick (Dennis), Sam Gibson (Diane), Kelly Jurosek (Joel) and Tina Brassick (Jim). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
