With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Courtney R. MacKie Sr. of Gladstone, Michigan, who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mackie and Doris Mackie (Artley); his wife Judy Griebel; his son Courtney Mackie Jr.; his grandson Dwayne "DJ" Feathers; and his siblings, William Mackie, Audrey Peterson, Carolyn Berry and Kathleen Everett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cherie Drossard (Jerry) of Gladstone and Christine Bingham (Harley) of Gladstone; his stepsons, Phil Griebel (Becky) of Escanaba and Garin Griebel (Julie) of Onalaska, WI; his daughter-in-law Angie Mackie of Menominee; his grandchildren, Caylib, Savannah, Dustin Mackie, Jason Drossard, Derek Lindahl, Drew (Samantha), Bailey, Lilly, Joey Griebel and Scott Bingham; and his siblings, Thomas Mackie, Pat Goes, Mary Hilger, Sandy Bero and Barb Ingram. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Masks and social distancing are required upon entering the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Courtney's name may be directed to the Delta County Cancer Society.
