She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Cook and Clara Cook (Murphy); her daughter Clarily; her husband Charles E. Hensley; her brother Morton Cook; her siblings-in-law, Edward Boudreaux, Robert June, James Carpenter, Jack Poitinger and Joyce Carpenter; and her pet Doolittle.
She is survived by: her son Sam Hensley (Lora); her sisters, June Boudreaux and Betty Lou June; her sisters-in-law, Lois Cook and Patty Poitinger; her grandchildren, Sam Jr. Hensley (Melissa), Jeremy Hensley (Amanda) and Amy Hensley (Rob); and her stepgrandchildren, Steven Elie (Trenity), Katie Shemonek (Charles) and Angela Aus (David). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
