She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord Blake and Florence Blake (Dittrich) of Wells, MI.; her husband Victor Karnitz; her daughter Sue Phillips; her brother Jimmy Blake; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Nelson and Gordon Everett.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo VanHorn (Tom), Karen LeClaire (Gary), Nancy DeGrand (Jim), Patti Hager (Mark), Sandey Hereau (Mark), Sara Hawker (Bill) and Paul Karnitz (Cindy); her siblings, Marlene James (Lloyd) and Leroy Blake (Karen); her son-in-law Mark Phillips (Cindy); and her siblings-in-law, Ron Nelson and Ruthie Blake. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
