He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey C. Cole and Mattie Margaret Cole (Kime); his grandson Joshua Lewis; and his sisters, Leatrice Schilbe and Gayle Fenzau.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Cole (Kristin) and Kim Lewis; his grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Lewis, Beonka Lewis and Mersaydez Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
