He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur F. Franklin and Victoria M. Franklin (Szeman); his brother Douglas Franklin; his nephew Jason Beckman; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Rockwood and Douglas Burwell.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Burwell; his daughter Jennifer (Frank Inman); his grandson Samuel Franklin; his siblings, Charlene Franklin and Bradford Franklin; his brother-in-law David Burwell; and his nephew Kevin Burwell (Sonja).
