He was predeceased by: his wife Bunah Cowser; his parents, Sidney Cowser and Mary Cowser; his sisters, Irene Taylor (Joseph) and Frankie Mae Adkins (John); and his nephews, Roy Edward Taylor and Charles Adkins.
He is survived by: his brother Sidney Dell Cowser of El Dorado, AR; his sister-in-law Beaulah Shavers of Sacramento, CA; his nieces and nephews, Shrena Taylor of Flint, Evelyn Taylor of Flint, Linda Vanderson (Enos) of Flint, Darvin Miles of Flint and Sidney Dell III of El Dorado, AR; his great-nephews, Joseph Taylor of Flint, MI., Terrence Dawson of Flint, MI. and Eynnus Vanderson of Flint, MI.; and also, Tonika Collins-Moye, Rosie White (Michael) and Fiesta Cooper (Terry) of Clarkston, MI.
