It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Susan Montin of Genesee, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Almond DeGroat and Hazel DeGroat (Helms); and her husband George J. Montin. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Powell, Janice Stephens, Shirley Welch (Jim), Trudy Snider (Gerald), Susan Guith (Larry), Evonne Smith and Annette Cody. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
