Steven W. Lawes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2025, at the age of 65, Steven W. Lawes of Gaylord, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lawes; his grandfather Arthur Balteau; and his brothers, Jim, Bill and John Lawes.
He is survived by: his mother Irene Lawes (Balteau) of Gaylord; his daughter Lindsay Pfeister (Brien) of Lady's Island, SC; and his siblings, Janie Stoner (John) of Rochester Hills, Suzanne Bur (Joe) of Cheboygan, Brenda Snapp (Doug) of Gaylord, Robert "Mike" Lawes of Rogers City and Timothy Lawes (Tonia) of Gaylord. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews; 43 great nieces and nephews; and 2 great great nieces and nephews.
Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in his memory to The Refuge, to help the homeless in Otsego County.
