He was predeceased by: his parents, John Crater and Janet Crater (Wilson); and his brother Dwight Crater. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Crater (Neilson); his daughters, Sharon Wade (Ken) of Johannesburg and Saundra Sereno (Joe) of Gaylord; and his grandchildren, Colin, Samantha, Kerry, Kendra, Kelsie, Christopher (Sheri) and Courtney.
