She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Kucharek. She is survived by: her mother Emily Kucharek (Prusakiewicz); her husband Philip Gapinski; her daughters, Stacey Kujawa (John) and Kelly Sobocinski (Kirk); and her grandchildren, Dr. Marisa Kujawa (Muhammad Abbas), Jacob Kujawa, Benjamin Sobocinski and Nathan Sobocinski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Cathedral Schools, 606 N. Ohio Ave., Gaylord, MI 49735.
