He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Olszewski and Gertrude Olszewski (Mier); his siblings, Patricia Olszewski and Gregory; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Olszewski and Marshall Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol; his children, Kevin Olszewski of Gaylord and Nicole Colone (Steve) of Milford; his grandchildren, Ashley, Samuel, William and Abagail; his great grandchild Armin; his siblings, Rosemary Campbell, Sharon Lehman (John), David Olszewski (Nancy Jean) of Waterford and Patrick Olszewski (Colleen); and his pet Mischa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many friends.
