He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale James and Aurelia James; and his brother Ken James. He is survived by: his significant other Shelly (Rice) of Maumee; his daughters, Brook James of Gaylord and Ashley Duvenhage of Denver; his sons-in-law, Willem Duvenhage and Mike Winiger; his siblings, Margaret Bundy, Thomas and Charles James; his mother-in-law Penny Crane; his siblings-in-law, Shannen Jewell (Steve), Julie Mock (Rick) and Evan Rice (Nani); his niece Alison; and his nephew Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
