He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Herman and Elizabeth Herman (Muhs); his wife Patricia Avanell "Av" "Pat" (Everette); his siblings, Bernard Herman (Anna May), Lucille Bigard (James), Theresa Chaplin (Glen), Edna Brian and George Herman; his siblings-in-law, Edward Rzeppa, Otis "Roger" Francis, Robert Everette, Gerald "Gene" Everette, Harold "Eugene" Everette, Maxine Downing and Agnes Everette; and his grandson Adam Herman.
He is survived by: his uncle John; his sons, Timothy Herman (Carrie) of North Loup, NE, Daniel Herman (Andrea) of Traverse City, MI, Patrick Herman (Deb Kresnak) of Traverse City, MI and Randal Herman (Mary) of Grayling, MI; his grandchildren, Christyn Herman, Megan Krumm (Dillon), Nicole Adams (John), Matt Herman (Shannon), Damon Herman (Aubyn), Aaron Isenhauer (Stacey), Alan Munsey and Noah Shambarger; his great grandchildren, Alexzander, Kylie, Wynn, Vivian, Addison, Gavin, Rosemary, Ryker, Kenzie, Josie, Eliana, Colton, Luke and Rhilyn; his siblings, Ruth Rzeppa of Algonac, MI, Dolores "Dinny" Francis of Bloomington, IN., Freda Miller (Richard) of Springfield, IL and Francis Herman (Janet) of Xenia, IL.; and his siblings-in-law, Donald "Don" Brian of Olney, IL. and Shelia Herman of Olney, IL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
