She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Nelson and Helen R. Nelson (Ouellette); her siblings, Ted Nelson and Patricia King (Elden); and her sister-in-law Rosemary Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack L.; her children, Stacey Smith and Jack M. Smith (Susan Day); her grandchildren, Brendan, Olivia and Erik; and her brothers, Richard Nelson and Tom Nelson (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
